Helloooo everyone! I don’t think I have shared this on my blog yet, but after doing some job searching in the summer, I have landed myself a 8 month full time internship at an IT firm! I will be taking a 8 month break from school as I delve into the “real” word – aka. working 9-5 in a real office. I am super excited to officially begin my position next week, and am definitely looking forward to not having to study or write papers for two semesters 🙂 Plus, everyone there is super friendly and welcoming to co-op students, which is always comforting when you’re first starting out.
This will probably be an ongoing “series” or post, as I will be wearing business casual outfits for awhile! For myself, it was hard to decide what to wear, and to distinguish what was appropriate and professional enough for an office environment. As I said earlier, it is my first real full time job so I am trading in my everyday, comfy, student look to a more polished and professional closet! Of course, I am still a student so I have been shopping on a budget. I have been going into the office for training this week, so I thought I would share some of my outfits. Let’s begin! 🙂
I’m not too sure what that pattern on my shirt is, if you know please leave a comment! I am in love with the stretchy, knitted material. Peplum tops are also really forgiving on my body figure! The pants I bought in January for a networking event, I love the edition of the line in the front and back because it streamlines your figure. Only thing about those pants is that they lack a belt area. I love my eyelet sandals and got them from Zara for only $20, what a steal!
That’s it to this post! Hope you enjoyed it, and check back for more business casual outfits! 🙂
