With the lip challenge, I have also been trying this Stila Stay All Day liner to go with some of the darker lipsticks!
Stila is pretty famous for their Stay All Day line. I am a big fan of their Stay All Day liner, foundation, and bronzer which I have also reviewed. I also have the Stay All Day brow pencil and the illuminating balm which I both love, but I haven’t had a chance to review those.
The lip liner comes in a light plastic packaging. It is pretty thin, which means the pencil is even thinner. I’m cursed with broken lipsticks/liners if you saw my previous Stila Stay All Day Matte Lipstick post, so I was extra careful with this thin pencil!
I have the shade cabernet, which is a majestic deep plum red. It reminds me of a nice, dark wine. The pencil is very smooth and glides easily. It is also very pigmented!
Since the pencil is thin, it is very easy to get a nice, precise, clean line.
Here is a picture with from the lip challenge, wearing this liner. I think it lines my lines very nicely and makes them look slightly more plumper!
And another picture! I love how clean and precise the line looks, and brings out my cupid’s bow.
After writing this post, I looked it up on Stila’s website and found out their whole lip liner line is based on wine, with other shades such as rose, merlot, zinfandel, and moscato! Cool 🙂

Yay!
I have a few of their lipsticks, but I decided to showcase this one because I love a nice, classic red. It is the shade empowered. The lipstick is nice and creamy, but also pigmented and not sheer. It is quite buildable as well.
Here is a photo of me wearing this shade!
Whenever I wear 22, I seem to always receive compliments on the colour. People are often surprised that it is by Kylie Jenner, because they didn’t know that her products were actually pretty decent (myself included in the past).
The swatch above is just from one swipe! You can see how pigmented it is. The top corner looks a bit weird because that was the first spot I swatched, and it was still drying.
What I love most about this product is how LONG it lasts. As I said above, this lipstick seriously does not budge. I tested it and wore it for over 9 hours, with meals/drinks/snacks in between and only the middle part faded a little. It is really impressive and so far, the longest lasting lip product I’ve tried.
Here is a picture taken TEN hours after wear, using bright flash so you can see it better. I applied this at around 1pm, and took it off at 11pm. You can see the middle part start to fade.
This Urban Decay 24/7 glide on pencil came in one of the Sephora favourites sets two years ago. I was a bit sad to see that an eyeliner kit wasn’t offered in the Sephora favourites sets this year, but it is understandable as eyeliners aren’t as popular as other products at the moment. But, I am thinking of purchasing the highlighting kit instead!
On one end of the pencil, is the shade ‘rockstar’. Rockstar is a really unique shade because I still have yet to figure out exactly what colour or shade this is. When I first used this, I thought it was a brown. But, it also has a slight metallic purple tint to it. I guess it depends on the angle, and which type of light you are seeing it from. I think this shade is really, really pretty.
The other side is your classic, jet black liner in the shade ‘perversion’. Urban Decay also has a line with the same name, you may remember their perversion mascara. I love using this to tightline and line the middle part of my eye, to give it a consistent and thicker look (if that makes any sense, I’m bad at explaining).
Here is a swatch on both colours. Rockstar looks more like a brown here, but you can kind of see the metallic finish towards the left?
I love trying to explain beauty products in simpler terms here on my blog. The term ‘Castanea Arcadia’ is very fancy sounding, isn’t it? I have to admit I didn’t know what either of those two words meant until I started writing this post!
The night cream is very rich, and has a thick texture to it. After I wash my face at night, my skin is a bit on the drier side. I apply this cream right before I sleep and give myself a mini massage and rub it into my face.
The day cream has a texture that is a lot lighter than the night cream. Since both the jars look the same minus the wording, I accidentally used the night cream one time and it felt too thick for a day time moisturizer.
You can see the difference in texture in the picture above. The one on the left is the night cream, which looks and feels thicker.
